There is always so much talk about self love, but what does it even mean? I think it's best to take the term and define it however it works for you and your life today. For me, self love means listening to my body and mind to meet my core wants and needs. Sounds complocated right? It's really not. This can be accomplished by doing a set of simples tasks that get your brain, body, and soul moving in a positive direction. Here are 15 ways to practice that self love right now!
For Your Mind:
- Do something small that brings you joy every day
- Make a list of 10 things you are grateful for
- Have a slow morning on purpose
- Listen to a good podcast
- Facetime a friend and have a converstion
For Your Body:
- Have a pamper sesh (face maks, skincare, and even a mani)
- Take 30min nature walk
- Do some yoga
- Have a relaxing bath mid-day
- Plan a nourishing meal with a new recipe
For Your Soul:
- Create a positive affirmation for yourself
- Slow down and be present and mindful
- Make a list of 10 things you love about yourself
- Unplug for the day
- Meditate
